A Pots Journey From Clay Ball To Final Creation
Each piece begins with cutting, weighing, and wedging clay—a process that removes air bubbles and makes it smooth. Then it’s thrown on the wheel, shaped with skill, and left to dry. After a bisque fire, it’s glazed, glaze-fired, and finally becomes a finished, functional work of art. There are over 24 hours of work in each piece. A piece can take months to finish, and may years to master the skill behind the wheel. It’s all a labor of love.
